Her top and puffy shorts are designed as an all-in-one one-piece. I found it quite tight when putting it on, especially around the torso, and it took a bit of effort to fasten the Velcro on the back.

   Instructions for Use

   Next, we put the little bow around her neck. I didn't remove the neck joint to put it on, but you can pop it off easily if you need to. Then we put on her two mismatched asymmetric socks, which requires removing her feet parts first. You'll have to do that anyway later to attach the shoes, since this doll doesn't have one-piece shoes, only separate foot replacements. Each foot part has a mounting hole for the leg peg that sticks out from the bottom. Once the socks are on, you get that lovely candy-colored striped look. Then we put on the super soft, lightly fleecy leg warmers, simply slipping them right over the top of the socks.

   Here are her shoe feet parts. They have slightly less painted details than the previous doll I unboxed, but there is still fine paintwork. The sculpting quality is excellent, it is a very unique mold design, and the feet attach super easily. Then we pull the leg warmers all the way up, finish the lower half of her outfit, and the doll can stand steadily in this look easily. Now most of her clothes are set up, we put her face plate and hair parts back on. The hair part has gradient shading paint, its twisted shapes look a bit like cream frosting on a cake. I absolutely love the little swirl curls, and the shading gives it that lovely toasted caramel look.

   Real Experience

   Inside the bag we have mitten hand parts and a baking prop. If we use the mitten hands, the doll can't hold the prop, so I decide to use the mitten hands because I prefer their look, though they did include a special grasping hand in the hand pack so she can hold the piping bag prop. I absolutely love her headpiece, which has a strawberry decoration on one side and chocolate brown stitching all around. There's a tiny elastic band under the chin that makes it super easy to put on. Finally we attach her little wings, which are shaped exactly like swirled frosting — they are incredibly cute and perfectly match the baking theme. They attach effortlessly via hidden magnets embedded in her back, even through her clothes, you can pose them however you like. Now the full doll is fully dressed and set up. I think this entire set is fantastic quality, you can clearly tell it's much more refined than many other similar MJD dolls. The articulation is smoother, the joint system is better designed, and swapping out hands and feet is way easier — just pull the old parts off and push the new ones on, no heat gun required. If you've been eyeing this set for a while, go ahead and get it, I know you're going to love it.
